SPACE – Where Creative Disciplines Meet
SPACE is DAC’s two-day annual networking event, held every May.
It brings together architecture, interior design, product design, and art through talks, exhibitions, brand installations, and experiential encounters.
Over its four editions (2022–2025), SPACE hosted 85 brands, 29 sessions, 110 speakers (including 7 international names), 4 exhibitions, and welcomed over 8,500 professionals.Prominent Turkish architects such as Emre Arolat, Han Tümertekin, Murat Tabanlıoğlu, and Nevzat Sayın, as well as influential names from various creative disciplines — including Ahmet Doğu İpek, Arzu Kaprol, Can Öz, Mert Fırat, Murathan Mungan, and many others — have taken the SPACE stage over the years.
in SPACE – Spatial Selection
in SPACE is an annual exhibition and publication project that aims to create an archive of qualified architectural and interior design works from Turkey. Each year, the selection is curated by a different curator and jury, drawing from nominations by leading professionals from the creative and business worlds.
The first book, Deviation in SPACE (2023), presented 29 projects from in SPACE ’22 and was published in both Turkish and English, edited by Prof. Dr. Ece Ceylan Baba, curated by Tanju Özelgin, and designed by Ali Gürevin. The second volume will include the 2024–2025 selections and be launched during SPACE ’26.
Architectural Criticism – Panel Program
DAC’s panel series Architectural Criticism is built on the belief that nothing new can be created without looking at the world through a critical lens.
It explores the unseen dimensions of architecture and opens an interdisciplinary space for dialogue and reflection.
